Refund & Returns Overview Belgium
IF YOU HAVE RESIDENCE IN BELGIUM, THE FOLLOWING CLAUSES WILL BE APPLIED:
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1.1 Please note that we do not accept returns of perfume after it has been unsealed, earrings, swimwear, or underwear for hygienic reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights.
1.4 Your delivered parcel will also include a pre-paid returns label, generated with the assigned parcel carrier. We strongly recommend affixing the pre-paid returns label to your parcel.
1.5 Vivienne Westwood Limited or Vivienne Westwood Italia s.r.l. strongly recommends its buyers to use only the authorised returns process specified, using the pre-paid returns label provided.
1.6 Return the item in its original condition: if the item you return does not match its original condition, we reserve the right to withhold compensation for depreciation resulting from handling the good beyond what was necessary to establish their characteristics and their proper functioning. If you return an item that is defective, shipping costs will be refunded.
1.8 Shoe boxes and jewellery boxes are considered an intrinsic part to the product and should be protected and returned undamaged. We reserve the right to withhold compensation for depreciation of the shoe box resulting from handling the goods beyond what was necessary to establish their characteristics and verify their proper functioning.
1.9 We encourage you to report faulty, defect or missing items to the Customer Service within 48 hours of receiving your delivery (please note, if you do not report the fault within this time frame your legal rights set out below will remain unaffected).
1.11 The Vendor does not take responsibility for damage that occurs during the return process where the pre-paid secured service it offers was not used for the return. If the pre-paid services were used for the return shipment, Vivienne Westwood Limited or Vivienne Westwoord s.r.l. will refund the purchase amount, including the delivery costs. Please ensure that that the goods are well protected when returned to us.
1.12 The Vendor does not take responsibility for returns lost in transit where the pre-paid secured service it offers was not used for the return. If the pre-paid services were used for the return shipment, Vivienne Westwood Limited or Vivienne Westwood s.r.l. will refund the customer the purchase amount, including the delivery costs.
1.13 Only returns received via the authorised returns process specified will be accepted, using the pre-paid returns label provided. Any returns received independently or outside of our returns process will not be accepted.
1.14 All refunds for online purchases can be made through our website or by any other means of payment chosen by the buyer. Exchanges are not available for online purchases. Goods bought via the online store cannot be returned to any other Vivienne Westwood store. Goods bought at any Vivienne Westwood store cannot be returned at our online store.
1.15 If you have met all the conditions requested, you will be refunded the price of the products purchased, including the shipping costs. You will be notified if we consider the item you returned not to be in its original condition. We reserve the right to withhold compensation for depreciation resulting from handling the goods beyond what was necessary to establish their characteristics and verify their proper functioning. If you return an item that is defective, shipping costs will be refunded.

FILL IN THE RETURN FORM:
1.1 We encourage you to complete the Returns Form, that was received with your order and to include it in your return parcel. Please read the instructions listed on the return form to provide the relevant return reason. If you have lost the Return Form, you may contact Customer Services to receive a replacement.
SHIPPING FOR RETURN:
4.1 Vivienne Westwood Limited or Vivienne Westwood s.r.l. strongly recommends its buyers to use only the authorised returns process specified, using the pre-paid returns label provided.
4.2 OTHER COURIERS: If you decide to use a different courier to the one indicated by the Vendor, you will have to pay for the cost of return shipping upfront and you will be responsible in case of loss or damage to the products during transport.
4.3 Vivienne Westwood Limited or Vivienne Westwood s.r.l. does not accept responsibility for returns lost in transit where the pre-paid secured service it offers was not used for the return. If pre-paid services were used for the return shipment, Vivienne Westwood Limited or Vivienne Westwood s.r.l. will refund the customer the purchase amount, including the delivery costs.
REFUND:
5.1 The refund will be made no later than 14 calendar days after exercising your right of withdrawal/return using the same means of payment that you used during the original transaction, unless you would expressly agree to the use of another means of payment. However, as long as we have not received the returned goods or a proof of shipment, we may delay the refund until all goods have arrived or until you have proven that the goods have been returned.
5.2 The time period for refunding the amount you paid for purchasing the returned products depends on the payment type used:
5.7 PAYPAL PAYMENT: Once your return parcel is received into our warehouse hub your return proforma will be processed through our QC teams.
FAULTY ITEMS:
6.2:
a. We encourage you to report any defect or faults within 48 hours of delivery (please note, if you do not report the fault within this time frame your legal rights set out below will remain unaffected).
c. up to 2 year: we assume that the goods have been defective since the time of purchase if the defect is detected within two years of delivery of the good. In these cases, you must inform us as soon as possible (at the latest within two months from the day you detected the defect). The consumer may choose to obtain a free replacement or repair of the good or a price reduction or termination of the purchase. The latter is only possible on condition that the repair or replacement would be unreasonable or impossible, or cannot be carried out within a reasonable time. Termination of the sale cannot be requested if the defect is minor. As soon as we receive the defective item, we will carry out a thorough examination and contact you with our result, if we can prove that the defect would not have existed at the time of purchase.
d. after 2 years: after this period, you are covered by the existing regime of hidden defect. In these cases, the consumer will be entitled, depending on his of her choice, to claim a price reduction or termination of the purchase if you can prove that a defect existed at the time of purchase.
