The Vivienne Westwood 2025 Made-to-Order Bridal collection is presented as an ode to love: an honour to the everlasting vow. Queen Victoria provided the original inspiration for the 2025 collection, as the first bride to choose white for her wedding gown, breaking with tradition and showing a fierce, independent spirit. The collection draws further from her commitment, nodding to her black period, following her beloved Albert’s passing. Each gown in this collection is offered in shades of white and black, and white with black detailing. A collection which allows the modern bride to celebrate their own individual style.
Made-to-Order designs require a minimum of four to six months to produce. Please allow 6-8 weeks following your gown’s delivery for alterations. Dresses can be produced with a shorter lead time, but this is at the discretion of the studio, and is subject to rush fees.
We also offer a range of veils and accessories to complement your look, which can be tried on during your appointment.
Making a Couture garment is a fully bespoke experience, which requires a sketched design, along with toile and silk fittings with our Couture team. Through a series of private appointments, every bespoke gown is hand-crafted with dedicated time and attention to detail – crafted at the Vivienne Westwood atelier in London.
This exclusive service provides the opportunity to create a uniquely tailored style, specific to your personal brief. During each step of the process, your personal aesthetic, shape, colour and the details of your event are considered. Taking inspiration for your gown from our portfolio of couture garments, you will work closely with the design team to create a sketched design, adapted to your unique vision.
This service opens a vast number of possibilities and is ideal for a person with an open mind and flexible budget. We advise all clients interested in this service to have a minimum period of four to six months, due to the creative process which may instigate new ideas and design alterations. We kindly ask that all appointments, whether for bridal gowns, eveningwear, or accessories, are booked in advance; this can be done by phone, email, through our website or in store with one of our Bridal Specialist. Gowns and accessories can only be tried on during a confirmed appointment. Our Appointment Service is subject to availability and requires the payment of the “Experience Fee” at the time of booking, except at our Los Angeles and New York boutiques where no fee applies.
Initial bridal consultations typically last 60 minutes. Followup appointments generally take 30 to 45 minutes.
Please give as much notice as possible if an appointment is cancelled or changed, we will do our best to accommodate these requests. Appointments can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance.
We kindly request that you bring no more than two guests, as space is limited. Children, infants, and pets are welcome but must be supervised at all times. If you or your guests require a ground-level appointment due to mobility needs, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate accordingly. You are fully responsible for, and agree to indemnify Vivienne Westwood against, any damage caused directly or indirectly by you or your guests (including children and pets) to merchandise, garments, furniture, or decor.
We provide a curated selection of heels and accessories to help style each dress. However, if you have specific shoes or accessories you plan to wear on your big day, we encourage you to bring them. We recommend wearing nude or light-coloured undergarments, and kindly ask that you avoid using tanning products, body creams, makeup, or perfumes, as these may stain the gowns.
Yes, photos are allowed during the appointment but videos are not permitted. Please be mindful that the photos may not be an accurate representation of your own wedding dress, due to the difference in sizing, fit and lighting.
Our flagship boutiques carry sample gowns in a range of sizes, generally from UK 6 to UK 20. However, not every style is available in every size. Our experienced Bridal Specialists will help guide you through styles and explain how each gown will be tailored to fit your body.
