A 17th-century-inspired corset forms the foundation of the Favourite gown, its sheer base revealing the delicate boning beneath a Rose lattice lace overlay, layered with the Ambrosia Blooms printed tulle. The dropped-basque waist is adorned with a row of flowing bows, embellished with tiny ivory and silver beads and pearls, inspired by embroidery found on archival Gold Label corsets from Spring-Summer 2013. Beneath, layers of lace tulle and organza create a generous yet light ballgown skirt, finished with removable panniers for a contemporary take on the historical silhouette.
