Our Chrysalis dress takes its name from the chrysalis, the protective cocoon in which a butterfly undergoes transformation. A hand-embroidered pearl-fringe mini dress forms the foundation of the look. For the ceremony, it is layered beneath a voluminous waspy silk taffeta overskirt with an expansive train, accompanied by a dramatic, oversized veil to evoke the moment of emergence. As the celebration unfolds, the overskirt is removed to reveal the strapless, pearl-fringed dress beneath, transforming the look from dramatic volume into a shorter, contemporary expression.
