Vivienne Westwood unveils a new Couture Bridal Collection for 2021 – a retrospective of iconic catwalk silhouettes is curated into a collection which celebrates 25 years since the inception of couture at the London atelier, each piece is reminiscent of a significant moment from the Westwood archive and her development as a master couturier. Available exclusively to the Vivienne Westwood London Davies St and New York flagship boutiques, the 2021 Couture looks have been expertly handcrafted in the London atelier. Featuring playful exposed lace corsetry, complimented with high slits, tulle trains and rose embroidery. Corseted ruffled mini dresses shimmering in lurex mounted on organza and the opulent Peace Cocotte gown in heavy silk is styled with a double satin Bird of Paradise apron train, creating baroque bride grandeur.

The creation of each couture gown at Vivienne Westwood is a truly bespoke service, with every made-to-measure piece personally designed for each bride and created with dedicated time and attention to detail from the couture team. Once the bride has selected the silhouette, personalised design sketches are drawn-up and a toile is then constructed and tailored to the bride’s body. A selection of luxury fabrics, handcrafted embroidery, beading, applique and bespoke finishings are explored, before the final gown is expertly handcrafted in the Vivienne Westwood London atelier.
