The skeleton motif has long been synonymous with the house, first introduced in the early 1980s by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren. Recalling motifs found in Renaissance jewellery as reminders of the inevitability of death and the preciousness of life, the design features an articulated skeleton that wraps around the wrist, complete with movable joints and an enamel orb charm suspended from one hand.
