Boudoir is a grand design - inspired by the old perfumes from the Versailles Osmotheque, which Vivienne loved.
Boudoir is a perfume that when worn, enhances your sensuality. Rich in tradition, a fragrance that could become the wearer’s most intimate possession and expression of personality.
The fragrance is elegant and commanding – full of contrasts. Aldehydes crackle beneath Bergamot and Orange Blossom, while Damask Rose and Carnation bloom amid spice-laced notes. Its base is formed of Vanilla and Tobacco Leaf with a hint of Sandalwood. As the Vanilla rises, the classic Chypre silhouette transforms into something unmistakable.
Rooted in a conscious approach to both nature and innovation, the formula embraces a new generation of raw materials and extraction techniques, designed to reduce environmental impact and enhance natural resources. The Vanilla is obtained through a carbon dioxide extraction method that requires no heat or harsh solvents, preserving the purity of the ingredient while lowering its ecological footprint. There are no animal derived ingredients within the fragrance – and a special solar-powered extraction of Ylang Ylang has been used, offering a more complex character: warm, floral, balsamic, and subtly spicy.
A dancing satyr and gold foil Rococo frame – staples of Westwood iconography – are used for our pink packaging, overlaid with Vivienne’s handwritten, ‘Boudoir’. Inside the box, the elegant glass bottle has been designed to showcase the pale pink perfume - crowned by the gold orb, the symbol of the house.

The new 'Boudoir' fragrance is now available to purchase from Vivienne Westwood boutiques across the UK, and from our flagship boutiques in Paris and Milan. The fragrance will be available from wider Vivienne Westwood boutiques globally from November, and across Vivienne Westwood boutiques in Asia from 2026. The fragrance marks the beginning of a beauty journey for the house and is the first offering from a growing collection of fragrances and beauty products.
