The Seditionaries boots were introduced in 1976, coinciding with the rebranding of Vivienne Westwood's boutique as 'Seditionaries: Clothes for Heroes.' The boots feature a renewed tartan motif, complete with strap and buckle details, recalling the themes of restriction and control found in bondage and fetish wear.
