Depuis 2010, nous réalisons une ligne d’accessoires au Kenya en collaboration avec Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI), un projet du Centre du commerce international. Cet organisme a été fondé conjointement par les Nations Unies et l’Organisation Mondiale du Commerce. Ce projet valorise actuellement le travail de micro-artisans issus de communautés africaines marginalisées.
NOTRE PARTENARIAT AVEC ARTISAN FASHION
Since 2015, our products have been manufactured through a local social enterprise, Artisan Fashion, which specialises in the production of high-end accessories with community groups of artisans. Initialement fondée par EFI, Artisan Fashion est maintenant une entreprise complètement indépendante et florissante, en partie grâce aux commandes régulières de Vivienne Westwood. L’activité emploie 2 600 artisans. In our SS26 season, over 70% of all the artisans employed by Artisan Fashion were women and over 90% of artisans were able to put savings toward school fees, while 100% improved their skills through on-the-job training.
