Originating in the Autumn-Winter 1987-88 Harris Tweed collection, the Portrait corset shows how Vivienne subverted the corset structure, worn by high society women of eighteenth-century salon culture. This season, the piece is finished with an orb jacquard lining - recalling Vivivenne's vision of taking tradition into the future.
