What is the cost of delivery when I order from Vivienne Westwood’s online shop?

What should I do if I have received the incorrect item?

If you have received the incorrect item we would like to apologise for the disappointment that we are certain that this has caused. Please return the incorrect item to us by recorded delivery (the cost of which will be refunded to you) and we will send out the correct item as soon as the return reaches us. If you could also contact our Customer Service team either by emailing or calling +44 (0)20 7915 2461 we will be able to anticipate the arrival of the returned item leading to a speedier turn around.

What shall I do if I wish to exchange an item?

If you have bought the wrong size, received a damaged item or would prefer to exchange for a completely different item altogether, then please return your product to us within 14 days of delivery and we will happily send out the alternative to you at no extra charge to yourself. Please note that we will only offer this service once per order and this applies to all items with the exception of Earrings, Underwear, Books, CDs and Perfume.

What items can I return?

We will happily exchange or refund any unworn items within 14 days of delivery with the exception of Earrings, Underwear, Books, CDs and Perfume.
We would like to ask that you return all items in their original packaging with the swing tags attached. Shoe boxes should be protected and returned back to us undamaged as they are seen as being part of the product, damage to the box may lead to the item becoming non refundable.
Please note that Vivienne Westwood is not able to cover the cost of return postage, however we will ship your exchange out to you free of charge.

How do I know if the product I am buying is genuine?

As we are the official online shop for Vivienne Westwood Ltd you can rest assured that all items sold on our site are authentic Vivienne Westwood products. We appreciate that we may not stock every item in the collection in which case you may wish to make a purchase through another online retailer. Please check our list of stockists to ensure that you are buying from a genuine stockist. 

Where am I able to spend gift vouchers or store credit?

Gift Vouchers and Credit Notes issued by Vivienne Westwood Ltd stores (this excludes can be redeemed from the following places.
At present we unfortunately do not accept Gift Vouchers or Credit Notes issued by these shops as payment for online purchases or Vise Versa.

If you need shipment to another destination, please refer to our on-line store directory to check whether we have a store in your country. 
Typically our in-country stores will be happy to deliver items by post, should you be unable to visit the store. Please note that this service is however provided at the store’s discretion.   

Would it be possible for me to exchange my on-line purchase at my local Vivienne Westwood store?

We are not presently able to accept return of on-line purchases at Vivienne Westwood stores.  Similarly, we are currently unable to arrange for exchange items to be collected in-store.  All exchanges of on-line purchases must be made by post.

I loved one of the pieces you stocked last season; will you be getting it back in?

Most of our collections are seasonal and therefore are only available for six months. With the exception of our Classic items, we don’t restock items from past seasons.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, MasterCard Debit, Switch/Maestro, and Visa Delta payments.

What should I do if an item is missing from my delivery?

If an item is missing from your delivery please report this within 24 hours of the delivery by contacting our Customer Service Team either by emailing or calling +44 (0)20 7915 2461. Please be aware that you may be required to provide photographic information to enable the team to investigate the matter further.

Which currency can I pay in?

Prices shown on the site are in GBP, Euros or USD dependant on your location and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate unless you have selected an alternative country where VAT is not chargeable.

If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in GBP, Euros or USD, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.

How is the price of goods calculated?

We have a local pricing policy whereby the price is not determined by a straight conversion from GBP but follows the RRP set for retailers within your country. These are determined at the beginning of the season and are not affected by exchange rates.

Who pays tax on their purchases?

Products purchased within the European Union will be charged VAT, currently at 20% for the UK.
The prices displayed are inclusive of this tax.
We offer tax free shopping to the following countries: Australia, Canada, Channel Islands (please select Jersey or Guernsey at checkout), Luxembourg, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland and USA.   
Please note, when importing goods to the above countries, that you may be liable to pay VAT and/or Import Tax directly to the shipping company or local tax authorities.

What size should I buy?

Vivienne Westwood sizes vary from label to label so be sure you are buying the right size by checking the 'Size Chart' link which can be found on the product detail tray, to the right on all of our product pages. Should you wish to discuss our sizing with someone, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team who will be happy to assist. How will my Jewellery be packaged?

All items of Jewellery will come with the appropriate Vivienne Westwood pouch and box. Limited edition items may have alternative packaging.
